About Minnesota...

The phrase, “Holy Cow,” is attributed to Minnesota when it was first heard during a baseball game. However, that’s not all this state is known for. The state is known for the following establishments – Mayo Clinic, Better Business Bureau and Metrodome.

Medically, it is the location of the first open heart surgery and the first bone marrow transplant. However, it produced armored cars and offered a kids’ library in an adult library.

There were also an array of inventions and products produced and manufactured in Minnesota including but not limited to Scotch Tape, Masking Tape, Tonka Trucks, HMOs, Green Giant Vegetables and Bisquick.
